So your into romance.. but you haven't seen 'Ah My Goddess'!!!, the story about a college geek who get's a girlfriend so perfect that she's literally divine...

What classics are missing from this list... There's no 'Tenchi Muyo Ryo-ohki' the original harem genre series...

And there's no 'Martian Successor Nadesico' the series that drew higher ratings then 'Neon Genesis Evangelion' in the same season, and is one of the better parody series around...

And the big sleeper series on my shelf (and still the best written story I've seen, with both a strong romance and rivalry story angel), is 'Princess Nine', a sports anime series that also shows just how different baseball is in Japan...

How about trying some fanfiction. I think sometimes fans come up with the best romances for manga and anime characters

You could allso watch Chrono Crusade, alltho it isnt fully about romance it has a killing ending to it.

But yeah, try Elfen Lied, its deep, maybe not 10=% romance like Onegai Teacher, but it might get u hooked.

You can try boys be, its not really that good but it does fit into this section of romance you're talking about.
