Try Ranma 1/2 or Maison Ikkoku. Both are my favorite series from Rumiko Takahashi, and are 'perverted' and quirky. For something that's longer and funnier, I'd for Ranma (I also think it's classified as Shonen?), and for something that more coming of age, college surrounded humor try Maison Ikkoko.(Seinen, i think.)

code geass is good untill second series where it fails Gurren Lagann now thats a funny anime now some one add me at my msn xbox_champ_01 @ hotmail

I agree with Benjamin here too - Gureen Lagann is funny. My friend just introduced me to it this week and I found it funny to watch.

I suggest you watching Skip Beat. It's a love comedy htat is VERY funny, and in some places it will make you cry too.. it did to me ^_^; I haven't seen Lovely complex, but it sounds quite similar to that.

I just finished Azumanga Diaoh, it was pretty funny. Lucky Star is win, especially if you've seen the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and can catch all of the random references. Hayate No Gotoku is absolutely hillarious, but only a true otaku can take the most out of it :P
