Thats a ignorant way of looking at Kaleido Star.

Kaleido Star is nothing new, the reach your dream and never give up kinda thing. Its the way that has been presented made it enjoyable. How Sora became the Kaleido Star, the journey, the hardship. I actually like the Fool part, like shakespeare the Fool is always the wisest, the way he tells whats happening with the characters with the cards and constellation are interesting. There isn't a lot of anime about acrobats and circus, so this one is worth checking out.
