Thread: Live action anime. How do you feel???

I tried to watch them after seeing anime on which it is based. But I couldn't even finish these movies, 'cause they was so simple and sometimes even disgusting in comparison with their original.
But on the other hand, if I didn't see anime first, i would like some of them.

I cannot understand why any producer would take any perfectly fine anime/manga series and make a two-hour long monstrosity. It is simply horrifying. I apologize if my opinion is to be considered a "hyperbole". I can exaggerate a little sometimes.

it's good to make a real action out of anime but what hollywood needs to learn is don't mess with the story if it's already great don't change anything just convert it from anime to real time I mean we have the tech to do it right now and make it look great so that;s just my thoughts on it

I think it depends on the movie just because one is bad it doesn't mean that all others will be. however from experiance "The Last Airbender" was not very good. But I am a big fan of nickolodeon's avatar tla so I had big expectations.

I don't know this is the first time I heard about it. I usually watch a movie and based it off of its own merits. My thoughts are mostly that is its usually another version of the story. I think that if you go in there expecting it to be like the anime you will probably be disappointed. I have the same thoughts with comic book and video game based movies.

only if there real good use CGI like what they use in Avatar that was good move i mean
half if not the hole movie was in CGI if it realrealreal good i say good for but if look real
