Lost In a World of Anime

Im stuck, I have watched like 50 animes in the last month and havent enjoyed any.

    I need help so bad
looking for animes where there is growth in the main character I.E. gaining abilities as he gets better, or emotional growth.

i loved the concepts of, Code Geass, Naruto, Samurai X, mushishi and a few others.

Anyway Any help or Reccomendations would be much appreciated

Okay there is Basilisk, Gurran Lagann, and Elfin Leid. Those are some of the best ones and have formed a sort of canon of mine when it comes to recommending anime. I also point out that they are all one season. Going further on a whim you may also like Burst Angel, it is meccha mixed with fighting and bishojo badasses. Any thing else I liked I am never sure someone else might like. So I stick to recommending those.

i thoroughly enjoyed Full Metal Panic. definitely one of my favorites and i recommend it to anybody. basilisk i thought tended to drag on. i mean its good action wise and the story aint half bad but they could have omitted alot of crap. i know fillers are what the world go round but hell i could fall asleep. dragonball z still tops the list of "too much filler."

Try FMA. It's a great series and it's very interesting.
