Thread: love hina

Love Hina came out in april 2000, and ended in september of that year.
The manga came out in 1998 and ran 14 volumes until 2001.
The anime also had 2 movies and 1 OVA (Christmas and Spring Specials, and the Love Hina Again OVA)

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that a lot of people have seen/Read it. Love Hina was also the anime that got me into Romantic Comedies and away from just watching Sci-Fi themed anime.

I don't really have a favorite episode, but I do have a favorite event in the manga:

When Keitaro and Naru get married

I jus finish watching the 1st episode and it was so funny. I think Igoing to watch the rest of the series.

I still haven't checked out the anime, but I have read all of the manga. I don't exactly know how much they have in common, but I liked time Naru and Keitaro spent on that island. I think everyone else showed up later, but it's been so long I can't remember.

I'm is episode 12 and so far I like it. It reminds me a little of chobits. It has a really good story and the characters are great too eccept for one Kaolla Su. I don't know why but I just don't like her that much. Probably because she is always hyper it makes me think she is on some kind of drug.

I just have a question for Aceman67... If naru is not the girl that made the promise with Keitaro then who was that girl?

i have read the first two books of the manga! I am hoping that when i watch the anime i would like that better. i wasnt a big fan but also at the time i wasnt really paying attention to it!

Ya Love Hina is one of my favorite Romance/Comedy Anime. Because come on man, one guy living in a house full of girls and they all love him. Now thats great. I wish they made more anime episodes. But I gotta catch up on the Manga!

the manga is much much better in my opinion. ill give you that it gets a little absurd tword the end, but overall i liked it better on paper..

pluse the dubbing just sucks, quite honestly. i mean, come on- the voice of Inari from Nauto for Motoko? bah, such terror
