Thread: manga & anime on age limit

i believe anime manga/animanga is for every one but there is reason why they rate the series as such. just a thought

You think it would be cool if grade school children could buy HENTAI (Porn) Anime and Manga series?!?!. In Japan, 60% of all print publications (books, magazines, etc.) are in the form of Manga. And this covers publications from Kindergarten fodder to Adult material. Its seems somewhat obvious why some publications have a age limitation...

And this is a Anime/Manga topic... moving to the Anime forum...

well... there should be some restrictions for thing like that... its sort of a shock when you think your buying a manga about a battle and its well (battle royal) >.< (horid manga by the way >.<)

i agree i mean if you are a first time reader of manga and anime that will be a shock. i know my brother was surprised when he thought he was buying anime/manga and ended up buying hentai cds. lol the look on his face was funny he didn't know if he was going to give the cd over to me or my older brother . i do agree with the the restrictions on a few buys. BTW he ended giving the cd to my older brother

it might even be good to put a law thing that could say something like at the time that you buy it you have to should a ID or something (well mybe for some of the more mature ones >.<)

The idea to show ID for certain Mangas is good, but that would start some problems for some people. Cause some kids are into mangas like Battle Royal (And I do agree that it is horrid >.<), but can be mature about reading it, even if they are under age to read it. Or if they don't want to go through the problem of buying it, they can get someone who is of age and get it for them .

hmm... well that would be a problem... well... no idea what to do about that... even so if you could stop it that way there is always the internet...
