Modern anime or old fashioned anime

I love a lot of old anime like vampire hunter d,akira,Dirty Pair and i agree with false truth I do enjoy older anime more than I do with the newer series but i like newer series too.

It just really depends on personal preference.

Honestly there are a few classic titles that hold their own against new releases.

But again, its personal preference. Some people prefer the classic series over new ones. I personally enjoy what I enjoy. Doesnt matter if its old or new.

hmmmm.....omg....i remember when i was like 5, and the only other show i watched other then wrestling(perhaps that explains my tomboyish behavour lol) was sailor moon...and i still wanna see it..lol but i have no cable and it got taken off the air, and cardcaptor sakura when i was 9

The anime depends on the story line not whaether it has good graphics or not. thats basicly the diffrence between the two and if i had to choose of course the newer anime would work better becuase the graphics are better. Some times depending on the gender older ones are better for example berserk was a good old fashioned killing anime with lots of blood

i love both of them but if i were to choose just one i'd choose the old ones...

what would you consider old school anime?while I would have little more than a nostalgic interest in speed racer or astro boy I have and will watch the twelve kingdoms many times over and I also have a few new releases that I run to buy on the day they are released,

I only like a few old school anime such as Robotech, Mobile Suit Gundam series (in the 80's) and of course my all time favorite Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040. Then theres modern anime which I pretty much watch anything. Lol So long as the plot is good and character designs and action are awsome, I'm good.
