    Hehe. I just started watching FLCL. Have no idea. Is more confusing than complex. But I guess that makes it complex. lol. 7/10

    Although I consider it to be one of my favourite animes I would have to say Ghost in the shell: SAC is the most complex.

    Re: The most complex anime?

    I am yet to see Gits Second GIG...,i really want to see it

    i think so far the most complex but what i fully understood was Lain

    9/10 because it was really in depth and fully when into the subject about the boundaries between the real world and Online so to speak.

    Re: The most complex anime?

    I've only watched a few anime that's unofficially stickied as "complex" and at the top of my head, I do understand Paranoia Agent, Evangelion, and Perfect Blue. I haven't watched Ghost in the Shell all the way through, so I can't say that that one is (though some episodes I have watched have just completely threw me)... Gotta say Lain then for me, followed by... FLCL. With each viewing they're starting to make more sense, but I still don't completely understand them ^^;

    Re: The most complex anime?

    Most complexe anime I've seen so far is Paranoia Agent. I was only able to figure out what was going on about 1/3 of the time. I was thinking of buying the series so I can watch the episodes over a few more times to try and figure it out, but I need money for other things. I'd rate this 10/10, it was deffinetely more confusing than Evangelion, that to me was reasonably easy to follow along with. I think next in line would have to be Neon Genesis, Ghost in the Shell, FLCL and then Gin Roh (I only had to watch that movie twice to figure out everything that was happening, so that made me happy). I tend to lean more to the political and counter intelligence complexities like GitS and Gin-Roh than anything else.

    Re: The most complex anime?

    I'm going to go ahead and say Ghost in the Shell; both movies and series. I love the show, but I had to watch it a couple of times to fully get what was going on.

    Paranoia Agent was the same way, some episodes I had to watch acouple of times. I love that though, I hate being spoon fed my info.
