I don't suppose it's 'Pumpkin Scissors'???
Well, it's a little early for clues, but I will tell you that the manga was serialized in 2002, and the series began airing in October 2006. I believe the most recent episode (ep. 22) aired just yesterday.

An up and coming Anime director, obsessed with his idea for a new Anime feature Movie, personally pens a popular and highly successful Manga series based on his Movie idea to generate interest and gather funding for his Movie. He finally gets his opportunity to make his Anime feature movie, and it turns out to be highly successful. But because of all the difficulties and problems during the making of this film, the publishing studio decided to break off all further contacts with this director, forcing him to join with a close friend to create his own Anime Studio so he can continue creating new Anime works...
Lets see if you can name the director, the movie that caused this problem, and the Anime Studio that was created!!!
Edit: Now I'm not going to give out any one of the three parts, as knowing either the director, or the Studio gives away the movie name, but when I say the movie was highly successful, it was HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL!!!

I'll give it a shot...
Hayao Miyazaki, "Nausicaa of the Valley of Wind", Studio Ghibli.
That's what I wanted to say too, after looking it up too, but I couldn't find anything on miyazaki being forced to leave toei(I think that was the studio he was in before ghibli, but I could be wrong).
I hope your right gren.
Attitude of AO MODS, according to beast
Because they have obtained that level they are arrogant. You have to kep in mind when you talk about these guys they are kind of dorks who probably didn't excel at much and this is their only outlet to flex their muscles. Their egos would suffer no less so the the forum suffers some more. Watch one way or another they will probably repond to this post with a threat. But there are better forums out there. Correct!!! The Movie created by director Hayao Miyazaki in 1984, based on the Manga series written by Hayao Miyazaki, who's success led to the creation of Studio Ghibli. And to think that the original uncut version wasn't available in the US Market until two years ago. There's also a nice little video piece on the creation of Studio Ghibli that was included in the extras DVD on the above package...
Your up gren

Nice one, Len. Way to keep it interesting...
In the compressed US release of this 1994 4-episode OAV, the lead male is voiced by an actor who lives a day at a time, and the lead female by a certain "Showgirl"...
