I like pretty much anything action .... i don't especially like romance by itself, i think it adds to the story in an action but i don't like it that much by itself. For me it's like a spice not the main course. Oh and i like comedy.

i'd say mechtypes (betterman, gundam, RahXephon), feudal japanese stories (inuyasha, samurai deeper, kenshin, samurai champloo), and gunslingers (gun grave, bebop)

that soully depends on the storyline and plot in my opinion, but i tend to go along the more graphic and violent amine genres
