![]() ![]() Credits: 40,671 | Re: needing a good 90+ episodes to buy Grumble Grumble Grumble Someone's a glutton for punishment here... Let's see now... monster series that are completely out on DVD. The good ones that come to mind are... Rurouni Kenshin TV 3 seasons (95 episodes) all out in collection bricks, plus the associated Samurai X OVA (prequel and sequel to the TV series) of 6 episodes... Ranma 1/2 TV 7 seasons (161) episodes, plus associated Movies and OVAs The Slayers TV 3 seasons (78) episodes, 6 OVA episodes and 5 Movies. I'll let you decide if you want to get into independent series with connected story plots (Mobile Suit Gundam), series with butchered English dubs (One Piece), or series with incomplete or unfinished DVD releases (Detective Conan a.k.a. Cased Cosed. Lupin III, Inuyasha) A good online Anime webshop such as The Right Stuff, and Anime Nation (I've placed entries for both websites in the Links section) should have these in stock...

The rumor has it that FUNimation (who now owns the 'Slayers' license) plans on reissuing the series sometime in the second half of this year... ADV Films has a thin pack of the 'Slayers' movies out, and individual DVDs for the OVA series ('Slayers Book of Spells' and 'Slayers Excellent')...

![]() Credits: 110 | Re: needing a good 90+ episodes to buy Just running out of interesting series to purchace/rent, my tastes are very open ended. Favorites include anything with a mecha it seems, but just a really gripping story, one that will leave you needing more. But most importantly one that i can pretty much go out and pickup today if need be, tired of waiting all the time. P.S. two mounths between each Gundam Seed Destiney, that sucks and will DVD7 have a mini-box to fill up like #1? |

![]() ![]() Credits: 1,567 | Re: needing a good 90+ episodes to buy Sailor Moon is a fun series with about 200 episodes. I don't know very many mecha ones. I beileve Zeta Gundam has 90 or more episodes. (Sailor Moon boxed sets are out of print, but you can find them on E-bay, or discounted anime dvds. Zeta may be out of print also.) |
