I have been interested in negima for a while now and i wanted to know if anyone else has known this anime and what they think about it?

Negima is a wonderous anime :3 I prefer the book to the Show.....Personally...I think that it should of stayed a manga D:

I was going to go cosplay as Nodoka-san, but....o_O The cosplay is hard to come by, and I have no time to make one DX

Totally the manga kicks butt. The show glazes over details and upsets the plot. But its great, both the manga and the two anime adaptations.

I have seen Negima soo many times its not funny bw i liked it yes the characters,animation,sound,i liked but the plot wa kinda of and on it confused me a bit probably have to read the manga to get it batter lol.

Yeah the details are kinda left out in the show but the manga has alot of detail and its just a better anime to read than to watch.

Ive only just started reading the manga but it seems pretty interesting to me, it has a good story line.
The first show which attempt a direct manga translation of negima was a train wreck, Akamatsu himself saw the progress and was horrified at how it was and took direct oversight over the production as of episode ten but there wasn't much he could do. the artwork and plotline they took for it was an all around abomination that should be forgotten about.
The recently aired Negima?! is the second TV series, this time it's been done by the same crew who made the Pani Poni Dash anime and the artworks a huge ugrade from the previous show, coming pretty close to Akamatsu's work. The only catch is that Negima?! follows a different plotline form the manga. And it's interesting to see the familiar characters in a different situation. This TV series has been working out a lot better than the original and I'm enjoying it.
But of course, the manga is the best of all. If only Del Rey would issue re-releases of their earlier Negima volumes where they completely messed up the translated dialogue, I would probably buy it. The never ending school fair just ended recently so I'm interested to see where it's gonna go now.
