Negima!? is actually a re-hash of the original series and follows a different plot line, at least according to its Wiki entry: Negima!& - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
It'll have less fan service (Which was nice in the first series, but got way out of hand at some points) and focus more on Magical Battles from the start.
