Anyway, anime-media.com is also a really good place to watch Code Geass. They upload hours after it's aired, though it's raw. But usually within the next few days, they have it subbed. Screw youtube, btw.

What's so unemotional? actually i found it good to at least have a line or two in English because that's better than nothing.

![]() ![]() Credits: 20,883 | Re: New Adult Swim Anime (Code Geass) Now, now, shall we get back onto track? We dont need to be hazing [adult swim] for their stupidity of letting go of anime licenses and putting money into their original stuff, we all know tis foolish. As for fansubs, etc. lets just move on away from it. Code Geass is licensed and episodes are being put out to the public via the net legally both in Japan and in the USA. Japan utilizes BIGLOBE and the USA uses [adult swim] for now...now only if Bandai Entertainment can set up a g'damn release for the DVD already than there would be less fussing. Bandai just seems to do a horrible job in updating their own homepages of their own products, a shame it is. Now, for the newest (to be aired in the USA) "Code Geass" episode...I'm gonna keep this short though, I'm tired and sleepy. (Only if they aired Code Geass a bit earlier) Stage 8:The Black Knights Shirley, Milly, and Nina set out on a trip to Kawaguchi lake and they end up getting caught up into a hostage situation due to the sudden appearance of the Japanese Liberation Front. Also in the group of hostages is Princess Euphemia whom happened to be in the spot observing. (what a coincidence eh?) ZERO uses the fact that Euphemia is inside to his advantage and waltzes right through Cornelia's forces in promise that he is able to save Euphemia. Following some events ZERO safely "rescues" the hostages and at the same time he make his declaration against the Holy Empire of Britannia with the creation of his loyal army, the Black Knights. ...see, I kept it short no? LOL :My Personal notes and/or thoughts on the episode: The #1 thing about this episode that caught my attention is the slight alteration of the dialog in the translation. During the scene near the beginning as the train passes through the tunnel and Nina is frightened Milly comforts her by saying "...もう置いてけぼりにはしないから" = "We wont leave you behind anymore" as in the English dub the line was changed to "We'll be with you the whole time. We wont leave your side for a second". Close, but not the same as the Japanese line as the original line suggests that there was an event in the past that Nina was left behind for whatever reason. This single line is the only thing that keeps me from labeling Nina as an complete racist against the Japanese/Elevens and rather leaves the question open to the fact that did something happen to Nina before and did it involve the Japanese/Elevens and is that why she is terrified of the Japanese/Elevens? To my knowledge there hasnt been any such mention of such event...and I'm up fairly sure I'm up to date on all the episodes all the way up to Turn 10 of Code Geass R2. But if there was such an event than it can drastically change the way on how myself and other Code Geass viewers see Nina's character.
