![]() ![]() Credits: 19,316 | Re: New Adult Swim Anime (Code Geass) Oh, you guys are referring to Karen Stadtfeld/Kouzuki? Well [adult swim] doesnt have much choice in the matter of the censoring. (Although I find that slightly ironic as they ALWAYS have a disclaimer for mature content and that their name is [adult swim]. LOL) If you want to see the uncut, uncensored version than you'll have to wait for the DVD release. Which still may be a while since Bandai Entertainment STILL has no release date nor any images of the DVD on the Code Geass homepage. Seems like Bandai Entertainment has a difficult time with releases....sad. Code Geass

Don't worry, they probably will. I mean, it's only 26 episodes or something. Relatively short, not like Bleach or Naruto. So I doubt they'd cut it in half. All the episodes are finished anyway, so it's not like we're waiting for them to finish the first season. :/ Though the second season, I'm not too sure. I don't know how many episodes it has. Does anyone else know?

![]() ![]() Credits: 19,316 | Re: New Adult Swim Anime (Code Geass) Yes, I doubt that they would cut off Code Geass from [adult swim]. If by chance they do than [adult swim] is gonna have to suffer through the rebellion as well, muwahahahah. The first season is 25 episodes total, although it was originally 23 but due to the high demand they produced Stage 24 and Stage 25 to "wrap up" things (or thats what I'm brought to believe)...in which they really didnt wrap anything up, instead they ended Stage 25 with a "WTF!?" moment that made viewers crazy to find out the conclusion. This in turn increased demand for a sequel, hence now there is Code Geass R2...or thats what I've come to hear. Code Geass - Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 is projected for a total of 25 episodes. (according to Wikipedia) Currently they're up to Turn 6, which in my opinion is the BEST episode so far. You guys are gonna have to wait a while to see it...legally atleast. ^^; Code Geass - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Upcoming Legend | Re: New Adult Swim Anime (Code Geass) I find this anime hilarious since Japan has already been conquered by a country called America. "In August 10, 1945 the Americans overpowered Japanese forces and conquered the country with their nuclear weapons. In the aftermath of the American occupation, Japan lost its freedom, rights and culture. Rebel elements did not persist however, as the Japanese people did absolutely nothing. 60 years later the Japanese created a cartoon series where they you know actually fought back.

![]() ![]() Credits: 19,316 | Re: New Adult Swim Anime (Code Geass) Heh, no problem Cinlilly, its all thanks to Wikipedia. LOL. Seriously though, ep.6 of R2 was just packed full of key events for the series future. Gawd, I wish I could discuss it here but I fear that even if I use a [spoiler] tag that people would still read it and I'd kill the enthusiasm for the people that are waiting for it. Seriously, Turn 6 is perhaps the most important key episode yet.

![]() Credits: 6,478 | Re: New Adult Swim Anime (Code Geass) You're absolutely correct... although there is the Spoiler Chat section. o: - I just noticed your little usertitle. XD; Very nice. It'll be awhile before I'm able to customize mine, unfortunately. 3: But yes, I feel that a lot has happened in just these passed 6 episodes. I know that in a show like Bleach, it probably would have taken three episodes to cover what CG did in one. -_-' It's ridiculous how slow some anime's go at. I'm so glad CG isn't like that. I notice how it's still keeping the same steady pace as it did in the first season. >_< *fangirl moment* such an epic anime, I can't get over it. */end*

![]() ![]() Credits: 19,316 | Re: New Adult Swim Anime (Code Geass) OK, so Episode 4: "His Name is Zero" has aired last night on [adult swim]...and yes, I'm gonna be posting stuff with every episode aired so I do suppose that it will be a while until I let this thread die, thats how much I love Code Geass. Particulars that caught my attention in this episode: -The Tokyo Tower has become a museum to the Britannians of their "victory" over the Japanese/"Elevens". To think one of Japan's trademark structures became a place in which their defeat is displayed to all. -Lelouch's Zero costume and his waste of his Geass. Yeah, he finally got his costume, and personally I wonder why that design? Maybe its just me but doesn't the overall silhouette of his disguise look like the "King" piece of chess? (the chess pieces that are featured in the anime atleast) As for the waste of his Geass...he used it to nearly every person on the train. Seems like he could've come up with something better but...meh, whats done is done. -"Orange", that is all I will say for now... -Suzaku and how naive he is. Although I admire his efforts I do think that he is going on about it the wrong way. Especially since we learn of Suzaku's past, that he is the eldest son to the last active Prime Minister of Japan. Does he truly think that he can attain a position in the Britannian Empire that he can change things from the inside? ...and onto my personal thoughts on the episode. The VAs of the characters that appeared in this episode was not bad overall. They did an exceptional job for the VA of Deethald (the blonde, snobby media guy that ran out with a camera at Zero), its a fairly nice match to that of the Japanese VA.

But I'm really liking the series so far. Why I say so far is lately alot of series do something stupid and I put it on haitus. Um,...Shodokan, I'm guessing you feel strongly about the references? Want to talk about it or something? If not, ignore me, as a fact everyone should. | |
