So, it's been a few weeks since the new season of anime starting airing in Japan. I've seen at least 1 episode for about half of the shows. There's so many promising series coming out.

I'm especially happy with Shichi Henge, Shounen Onmyouji, Crescent Love, Ghost Hunt, Death Note, and La Corda D'Oro.

What's everyone else watching from this new season, and what are you opinions on the season and your series?

Of the new anime, I've been enjoying Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch, Shounen Onmyouji, Mamoru-kun ni Megami no Shukufuku wo!, Kekkaishi, & Katekyo Hitman Reborn.

Geass...so many of the character you thought would be main died early. And the main character is really...cool? That's it... I'm mainly in it for the Clamp character designs. Mamoru-kun ni Megami no Shukufuku wo! is cute. I'm not too sure where it's going.

Kanon (remake) is the most antipating one for me. Watched the original, the remake had better animation and better drawn characters. Just can't wait till it starts touching the main part of the story.

Death Note and D-Gray Man was those popular ones that I dove into without knowing much about it and ended up liking. Especially Death Note. I must say it is very original and its bad guy vs good guy and the "bad" guy is the main character. Each to its own preference though. The good guy can be the bad one. Some philosophical themes to it.

Theres Tokimeki Memorial Only Love. Which surprisingly getting my interest. Guess I haven't watched these kinds of anime in awhile. Im not looking forward to the ending though.

Then theres Negima and Asatte no Houkou.

Yeah, that's one of the more interesting things about the Death Note series. In essence, Light is trying to do a good thing, but the next question is "is he going about it the right way?" In philosophical terms, it seems to question the measures we'll take to do something we're convinced is right. You know, like "Is it the right thing if we have to do so many bad things to get there?"

Anyways, for myself, even though I've only seen the one episode, I'm really getting into Ghost Hunt. It might have been because I was watching kind of late at night and because at my core I'm probably kind of a wuss, but this seems to have good "mystery/scary" genre potential.
