New Animes in Japan in April 2010

Here is a list of new animes to be released in Japan in April 2010:

Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou

30th AD century, in a world that magic exists naturally, 100 years pasts since a great war between human races and the devil king. the war concluded by the human race's victory though it made many sacrifices, and slowly but surely the civilizations are also developing once again. One time, one witch walks down into a small town holding a newborn baby in her arms, she stopped in front of a church, put the baby in front of their door then disappeared. After that, ten years past, the baby taken in by the church was named Sai Akuto ("Worst Evil"), and even though he was raised in the orphanage he put the people in awe and perplexity with his preaching about love of mankind and equality like a man of virtue.

Senkou no Night Raid

This one will be a spy action anime set in 1931 Shanghai, when the Imperial Japanese Army has been dispatched to mainland China due to the relatively recent First Sino-Japanese War, Russo-Japanese War, and World War I. In this cosmopolitan city of intrigue, there is a special military spy organization called "Sakurai Kikan" that has since been buried in history.

Hakuouki

Yukimura Chizuru has come to Kyoto looking for her father, a doctor who has gone missing. While there, she witnesses a fight between an oni and the Shinsengumi. Taking her into custody, the Shinsengumi debate on what to do with Chizuru when they discover that she is the daughter of the doctor they are also looking for.

Angel Beats!

Angel Beats! takes place in the afterlife, and follows the main protagonist Otonashi, a boy who lost his memories of his life after dying. He is enrolled into the afterlife school, which exists as a middle ground between heaven and earth, where students learn to give up any lingering attachments they still have from life before finally going to heaven. While the injuries or cause of death is gone, those in the afterlife school still can feel pain or other things as they did when they were alive. Otonashi meets a girl named Yuri who invites him to join the SSS—Shinda Sekai Sensen —an organization she leads which fights against God. The student council at the school, led by the student council president and angel Tenshi, is in charge of keeping the status quo and serve to fight against the SSS.

Senkou no Night Raid seems really interesting to me. I'll have to look into it a bit more.

It looks very interesting, but is the art being displayed here from the series. It doesn't appear so.

Indeed, all of these seem rather interesting. Although I'm still waiting for the next Death Note, Eureka 7, Samurai Champloo, Code Geass, Full Metal Alchemist, Ghost In the Shell, Paranoia Agent, etc.~

Lol, I have high expectations? XD I want the next epicness!

They all seem pretty interesting to me. Now I just want to research them more and more!! XD

they all seem pretty good. i personally like the second and third one. the third one, Hakuouki, reminds me alot of peacemaker kurogane. so ill diffinately watch. well will just have to wait and see.

honestly i look forward to watching and/or reading them they look really really good XD

I know, right. I'll probably end up reading/watching them anyways 'cause I have nothing else better to do. XD
