The oldest anime that I have enjoyed would be Zoids Chaotic Century.
Haha the Live Action of Fist of the North Star sucked BAD I agree, but yeah there are lots more I know and grew up on.
Ghost in the Shell
Ninja Scroll
Voltron
Robotech
Macross
Demon City Shinjuku
Grave of the Fireflys
And more when I think of them lol, still on my coffee![]()

I've heard of almost every anime mentioned in this thread, yet I now feel pretty lame for not having watched over 90% of them. I will be the first to mention Samurai Pizza Cats though, was I the only one watching that?
I always watched Dirty Pair as well as Dirty Pair Flash years ago, but man I can't even remember on what channel. In those days I didn't purchase DVDs or proactively search for a series, I just stuck around on the channels that played the good stuff, because I was blessed with excellent cable growing up lol.
I've also gotta mention Devil Hunter Yohko, which I really regard as more of a guilty pleasure. Often times I would sit there saying "wow this is so bad" or "wow that was cheesy", but I watched everything and look back fondly on it.
I'm gonna go ahead and check out the anime listed in this thread, so I can feel like a bit less of a failure. Oh and once more for good measure: Samurai Pizza Cats. That is all.
Akira and Ninja Scroll are pretty old I think. I don't think Gundam Wing is as old as those two, but that's the one I've really enjoyed the most.
Space Battleship Yamato
I love watching old anime I grew up with (in this case Starblazers) uncut and in the original Japanese
