![]() ![]() | Online buying and site legitimacy. I was wondering what sites you go on to buy anime, and wether or not the following site is legitimate or not: Discount Anime DVD.com -Japanese Anime DVD Manga Graphic Novel CD with deep discount price!! I was wondering how I can be sure that the above site will not rip me off. Thanks!

Other than DAD, I use Amazon or ADVfilms.com when they have a sale. | |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Online buying and site legitimacy. Just because a copyright at the bottom of a page is not updated, does not mean that the site is legitimate. My banks web banking site didn't update its copyright till about July this year. if thats how you base the legitimacy of websites, then you're in for a real shocker when someone steals your money/identity/credit information. NEwho, thanx for the great website. One I would also recomend is J-box, while they may sell Adult material (Just like DAD does), its got a Huge assortment of other Asian items. Welcome to JBOX.com my favorite being this item: Japanese Hat - "Otaku" (Oakley Parody) I've bought from them before, and while their shipping is a bit slow (then again, I do live in Canada, and they're based in San Diego), I got my Ai Yori Aoshi PC game in timely manner.

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Online buying and site legitimacy. Grumble Grumble Grumble Looking at their product list, it does appear to be legitimate licensed products. (But due be aware that DVD 'Imports' are Region 2 encoded and will require a special 'Multi Region/Region Free' DVD player, or a import DVD player to view.) For Domestic releases, I usually use Overstock.com. The selections sometimes leaves a lot to be desired, and their display of Anime features is so disorganized you have to know what your looking for first, and use their search function, but they usually have the best discount prices of any legitimate website I've seen...
