O_o; Grumble Grumble Grumble 'Outlaw Star' is on the short list of anime features that did much better in their US release then they did with their original Japanese release. They did make a spin-off series which was titled 'Angel Links' which had that dragonite character shown in that Mercenary space station episode as one of the secondary characters...

I enjoyed the story, it had plenty of action, had plenty of comedy, and was dramatic when it needed to be. One of my favorite eps was when Gene was on that prison planet with 3x earth's gravity. The robots went down a little too fast, in my opinion.......... Anyhow, Outlaw Star is worth watching. |

![]() ![]() Credits: 40,963 | Re: Outlaw Star!?!? O_o; Grumble Grumble Grumble 'Outlaw Star' was not considered a financial success in it's Japanese broadcast, and Cartoon Network decided that it wasn't worth the funds to renew it's broadcast rights for this series. So, it's not surprising that nothing further has been made of this series, and without US broadcaster/distributor funding for new works, this is likely to remain so...

![]() ![]() Credits: 6,426 | Re: Outlaw Star I really fell in love with Outlaw Star... I remember Angel Links as well... I didn't really like it as much. Outlaw Star had a great story line and interesting characters. It would be pretty cool to see a continuation of the story. At the same time, it would take away from the beauty of the original. ^_^

Newbie | Re: Outlaw Star ^^I really liked the anime OutlawStar,it's one of my all time favorites. The story is good and so is the action.I'd be interested in another series, maybe where the story leaves off.Or some years later so you can see Jean's young partner grown up. |

Diamond in the Rough | Re: Outlaw Star I truely enjoyed this anime from the start. In fact it is probably the first anime that I had ever seen. With that being said I would not like them to make futher additions to the series. The truth has always been that too much of a good thing isn't good. It was a great anime with sweet action sequences and a good story but it should be left that way. Although I highly doubt and disagree with the continuaton of Outlaw Star, I would aprove a moive based off the anime.
