One of the more 'infamous' of GAINAX Studio anime series, (and the first one since EVA to actually make a profit) is the fanservice intense series 'Mahoromatic', the story of a young, cute, innocent Battle Android who enters retirement and cares for a young middle-school boy. Six years after the last production, it's been announced that a 2 episode TV special is now in production to be shown this fall...

Those are becoming more and more popular these days. I am not sure if they always happened in japan, or if it is that they are just now being introduced to the American market. When you see it please give us a review.

Hmm. Never did see the original. I think I will hunt it down and check it out. Sounds like it could be a fun series.
