Diamond in the Rough | rpg's into anime ? i was wondering if there are more people out there who would find it a great idea if they would make anime's out of certain rpg's for exampell they could make a killer anime out of final fantasy 9 and 10 with around 50 episodes there are so many rpg's who have great story lines so it wouldnt be to hard to make a good anime out of it what rpg's would you like to see become an anime or explain why not if you dont think its a good idea

Without including the major plot points (including spoilers!!!) of the story into the Anime series, your left with a series with that WTF?!?! feeling. The original 'Pokemon' series was successful in that they were essentially animated hint books for the original Nintendo Game Boy game. On the other hand, the 'Sakura Taisen' (Sakura Wars) OVA series were less succesful because all of the significant plot points occurred during the game, and were left unexplained in the Anime series... And as an example of problems caused by INCLUDING the major plot points in a anime series, my younger brother refused to see the 'Final Fantasy 7' movie, because at that time, he was still playing (for the first time) the console game the movie was based on...

Diamond in the Rough | Re: rpg's into anime ? i do think it can be done though if you pull it off right , leave the random battles out of course , but only include the bosses . final fantasy 10 has such an amazing story with plot twists . which i think would be awesome for people who never played the game to hear the story , and even for people who already played the game to just relive the story again think about it , a young man who lost his father many years ago now a star blitsball player like his dad , finds his city one day under the attacm of a mysterious but gigantic creature after he tries to escape for his live with the help of his friend name auron he gets sucked up into a bright light . after he wakes up he finds himself in a weird place . and gets attack by people who dont speak his language , who then force him to help them bring something up from the sea bottom . when then again they get attacked by the mysterious creature . then washed ashore to an far off island he finds people who speak his language . and meets up with a group of blitzball players who take him to their village but no idea of what happend and where he is , he uses the excuse of memory loss . he then meets up with a group of Guardians who protect a young summoner name yuna . and they start their journey to help yuna become a full fledged summoner and in hope of finding clue's to how he can get home the young man goes along with the group. this is perfect anime material if you ask me to not be considerd insane
