The original name for this series is 'Louie the Rune Soldier', and it doesn't get anymore pervy, (or serious) then what you've seen....

The Anime series is based on the novel written by the author who had just completed the 'Lodoss War' series, and wanted to write a D&D Novel that was less serious and more comedy and fun

For those who haven't seen this series, an all female adventuring party (Priestess, Fighter, Thief) find that they need a Magic User to complete their adventuring party. Though they tried to find a woman mage, the only person they could find is the womanizing overconfident mage in training Louie... On their first adventuring outing, Louie beats an orc on the head with his Magic Staff, (and thus breaking it...) leaving Louie magically powerless. So now the party has to go out to find the rare magical wood needed for a new staff, which leads too....

The anime series didnt have much story like the manga or the novel. (the manga was part of the comic "Dragon Jr." along with Galaxy Angel, Slayers, etc.)

Nonetheless it was still an enjoyable series.^^
