Thread: Rurouni Kenshin

I have watched all 95 episodes. I believe that's all there is, and you know I can't really say anything bad about Kenshin. I love the series, and even watched Samurai X:Reflection, which is supposed to be after the Rorouni Kenshin series, and a little more bloodier. Loved it. There's a few more out there as well. Samurai X: Trust and Samurai X: Betrayal which is more into his younger years. Well, in any case, you can judge for yourself. If you're really that curious, I suggest watching it and making up your own mind about it. I think that's best.

I liked the OVAs better, the same Rurouni Kenshin story minus all the comedy and "oros". Samurai X:Reflection, Trust and Betrayal are pretty much just different names for the same OVA series.

Samurai X: Reflection and Samurai X: Betrayal are two different OVAs. Don't know about Samurai X: Trust though.. I've never seen it :P

They're good, its good to watch to get more of an understanding on the "Batosai the Manslayer's" character. It's interesting.

Trust and Betrayal are the two half's of a two part story. The two were combined together (with some cuttings and glue scenes...) into the 'Samurai X' movie feature. If all that you've seen is trust, then that means all that you've seen is the second half of the storyline...

Maybe we should have a Rurouni Kenshin forum in the Anime Series section.
It's famous enough imo.

All that's needed is for someone (hint, hint...) to post a DETAILED SERES DESCRIPTION thread in the root directory of the Anime Series forum... and that will start the process....
