Samurai Gun
Hey there Dudes/Dudettes. I finally made some time to actually sit down and watch some Anime and SG had been sitting on a shelf still in it's packaging so the 2 just seemed to fit together.
So after watching all 4 episodes, I reasoned that I probablly wouldn't follow the rest of the series as it just didn't seem to 'Grab' me like other such Animes do.Sure, it's a little slow to start off with; but so is Trigun; and thats not what put me off. It just seems like it's been done before and a bit to predictable for me. I might go back if to it fi I start hearing recommendations and comparisons to other Anime I've allready seen.
So. Have any of you folks seen it and what did you think?

Re: Samurai Gun
I think I forced myself to watch all the way up to episode 8 or so? Horribly done in my opinion. Nothing interesting about it. As you said, its been done before, and been done a lot better.

Grumble Grumble Grumble
I've watched the entire series (grumble grumble grumble), and overall, the series is a disappointment, and it ends on a unresolved cliff hanger... The production of this series was partially funded by ADV Films. You can chalk this series up as an attempt by the director to create a series targeted for the American taste for dark, moody Anime series, and missing the mark by a mile...

Re: Samurai Gun
Oh well, I think I'll try selling it on eBay and add that the funding for my next 10+ Episodes of Anime. I'm not really into the whole 'trying' to be Dark and Gloomy. Especially if they fail badly and don't remedy this with some childish, but funny jokes. I've heard that 'Ninja Scrolls' is really good...
