Thread: Sci Fi Channel announces Anime late night block

i like the idea! this sounds like it will have some good anime and be competing for top spot with adult swim. i wlll like to see the day this here happens.

I like the idea and i think that sooner or later Adult Swim will loose its grip on the anime community because there always changing there line up and removing anime like for example the removal of Full Metal Alchemist that was just stupid i stopped watchin for a few weeks after that

Wow that's awesome! their going to be showing Noein I got those on dvd it's a great show! I can't wait to see that on the sci fi channel plus some other great movies like ninja scroll.

I don't think the Sci-fi channel is as popular as it should be. They do give some great shows there. And now, if they're truly going to be showing some anime.. that will make its ratings go WAY way up.

I applaud the Sci-fi channel for trying to better its ways, and trying to give a better viewing experience to its supporters. Very much unlike Adult Swim's ways of going about things. They put shows on there just for the hell of it. Just because THEY think it's good.

A) You really want to watch that series over and over again like inyuasha!?

B) The reason Adult swim blows is because they let go a lot of good series that could have been used to mix it up while they obtain rights to newer shows. Repetition is not always a good thing.

Finally, seeing from the list of other shows, like blood the movie, read or die, and BLACKJACK!!!!, as well as newer shows, then I'd say yes. Sci-fi could stand a chance of rivaling AS. I mean, have you seen their line-up, come on people. They aren't gods or anything, if they keep up the crap, sooner or later the fans will move on.

I don't know why Sci Fi is doing that for. That channel plays weird movies not anime. But I will probably watch it during that too. And I will still watch adult swim.
