The announcements made at the US Anime conventions over the Memorial Day weekend are now starting to filter out as official Press Release postings... FUNimation has announced the Region 1 (US/Canada) licensing of the fantasy series 'Spice & Wolf', though unlike other pseudo-medieval sword and sorcery fantasies, the emphasis of the series or more towards the operations of merchants and religious groups. No mention has been made about the 2nd season of this series (scheduled to be broadcast during this summer's Anime season), though I wouldn't be surprised if FUNimation has the options for the sequel...
