i liked the innocent look of Kiki...its just a nice story of a young witch, not nearly as complex as the other movies but it was still a nice anime i think...and the worlds that they make in all the animes from ghibli are soo full of life and color...you could spend the whole movie staring at the background cells just picking out details that they didnt have to put in but did anyways...

The power behind Studio Ghibli is Hayeo Miyazaki. He is the mastermind behind the studios most brilliant works. My favourites so far are "Spirited Away", "Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind", and "Princess Mononoke". "Kiki's Delivery Service" was really cute and the "Castle in the Sky" was alright but was far from his best work. However, Miyazaki-san's crowning achievement will in my heart always be "Spirited Away".

Ok Miyazaki fan here and I'd thought that i'd seen all of his movies but you guys are comming up with names that I haven't come across yet... do you think that you might be kind enough to send me a pm with a sight of where to find some of these? Thanks a tonne.

I'd have to say that I love all of his movies because they're all so in depth and just fantastic Spirited away is the one that got me hooked and for a long time my older brother was finding some of the titles and bringing them home but he's moved on with his life now and I kinda don't have his checklist... (he took it with him when he moved.)
Ahahah I sound like a selfish piglicker (yea I made that up just now) but honestly any help would be appreciated greatly ^_^ thnx

Anime would'nt be the big anime if it wasnt for Ghibli films.
Ghibli films go deaper than deap can go with sadness and an amazing
    Ammount of Fantasy.
And the problem with some anime Is how violent they are with ghibli films you realise Anime does'nt need to violent to be breathtaking

Google and her sidekick Wiki save the day again:

Studio Ghibli - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
GhibliWorld.com - The Ultimate Ghibli Collection Site
    スタジオジブリ - STUDIO GHIBLI

    I've decided Google is female.

Would that book be called Laputa, Castle in the Sky? With a girl with a family pendant which saves her life right at the start, the boy who catches her, some military knuckleheads trying to capture her, Some pirates who get tangled up in the whole thing & a mysterious man who seems to be controlling the Military guys? I ask cause I've seen both (thankyou SBS) & it could be it, though I don't honestly think so cause Laputa doesn't have anything to do with Howl. Still, can't hurt to ask...
The Madman previously known as Daniel219

Wish I could get on here more often. *Sigh* The down side to night shift...
