Thread: The stupidest Animes that have ever been created

In reality, the 'stupidest' anime series never get licensed for showing in North America... And programs like 'Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo' and 'Crayon Shin-chan' were created for elementary school age children, (which brings up the point, if you think 'Bobobo-bo' is bad, WHY ARE YOU WATCHING A ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AGE ANIME SERIES?!?!), so it's not surprising you think it's bad...

Now for other series, the title of 'stupidest' really is a matter of personal tastes and opinions, and would be difficult to prove in any case... I personally thing that 'Cromartie High School', 'Dead Leaves', and 'FLCL' stupid and pointless, but that's just my personal opinion...

Thanks for pointing that out heh and i think shin chan is funny...i seriously do but your right about FLCL its relatively pointless and a useless couple of episodes however another anime i found that was completely absurd was "Higurashi no Naku Koro ni" my friend had a dvd of it and its pretty annoying to me if you haven't heard of it i haven't either.

well pokemon is definatly up there lol, but i would slag pokemon..*couhg cough* but still monsters that can use pwers and can only say their name is a lil bit weird

Do you know what's fun (or not) about 'hate threads' like this? There is always some person out there who just so happens to think that shows everyone likes are stupid.

And that person would be me.

For example, here's a completely 'Stupid Show' (In my opinion):

Naruto -pretty f'ing stupid. 150+ episodes of the same lame sight gags over and over and over and over and over. Anime is much better when it has a point, but Naruto is totally pointless except to entertain hamster-brained little boys.

So are we now talking about shows that are stupid or shows that we hate?
Everyone has different opinions.
I personally didn't like Inuyasha.

thank god. someone who agrees. the pokemon show is also in the list. the idea itself is good but the fact the show drags on and has stupid side quests is beyond retarded. i prefer animes with a storyline so it's actually interesting. the "let's kick each others' asses again and again and again" theme really blows.

If there are 3 Anime I really hate it would have to be:

1)Yu-Gi-Oh : The battles are always so predictable and the plot stinks.
2)Dragonball GT : All the enemies look alot alike and the plot stinks.
3)Pokemon : I really hate the '3 frames per minute' action and the plot stinks.
