Suzumiya Haruhi series?

Wasn't sure where to put this.


Anyway, I heard that The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya was actually a novel, and just the first novel in a series!

So, I'd like to know the following. Are these books published in english? If not, is there any word about if they'll be publish in english?


Also, how do you translate the following:

* Yuuutsu
* Tameiki
* Taikutsu
* Shoushitsu
* Bousou
* Douyou
* Inbou
* Fungai


Also, while browsing for some info with rleatively no success, I did see the first few chapter translated somewhere. But I can't find where again. Help, please?

This is the best I can do from the top of my head....

*Tameiki=a sigh
*Taikutsu=bored
*Bousou=Berserk, to snap and go mad
*Shoushitsu=To dissapear
*Douyou=Sympathy, pity
*Inbou=A secret plan/goal (?...I'm not sure of this one)

...I'm really bad at explaining things so they're probably not 100% accurate. You might wanna ask someone else that's also Japanese to get the translations done 100% correctly. I'm sorry I couldn't do all of them. Hope what I did was of any help...

No, its not translated and there are no words about being translated into English. Maybe if Haruhi becomes more popular as it is already maybe a company will pick it up and translate it.
