Usually i watch all my Naruto episodes online.........
I finally saw one in english on Cartoon Network...................
WOW........the dubbing was horrible.......i almost wanted to rip my ears out just listening to Sakura talk.........
The point is has anyone ever heard any dubbing that was just horrible.......

I watch Naruto online too, and I guess I'll keep doing that, lol. I do remember my friend showing me a show with some really bad voice dubbing in it, but I can't remember which show it was. But I do remember a guy still talking when the scene changed... You'd really think they would try to do better, seeing how many people watch it.

The dubbing in Naruto is actually quite decent. It's done by Viz Media and they've done good in the past. The only reasons people complain are of course, the mispronounciations, the translations, and other silly things like that. Everyone will always have a harder time pronouncing something from another country because it doesn't come natural to them. Most Japanese can't speak English very well. Most, if not all, Americans (that aren't majoring in Japanese or is a student for a long time) cannot pronounce most words right. It happens.

I havent heard much in voice dubbing but the american version of Tenchi Muyo is a lot better voices then japanese versions

Hmm...mine was Naruto and the dubbing was in malay...
every character sounded so weird... it is awfull...and naruto does not sound like himself... he is always so...energetic in his sayings...not in this dubbing...so i made up my mind to buy naruto from ep.99 to 188...How many ep. is there in naruto anyway?

^_^ Viz Media did an awesome job on Ranma 1/2 until they changed the voice actors! boo!
also, i thought the dubbing for Yu-Gi-Oh was awesome! and this is coming from someone who saw a lot of the original Japanese! what you have to remember that they bring and dub anime overhear for KIDS not FANS!
of course it's not going to be the exact origianl context, it's not meant for Billy Joe Seven Year to watch! that's why you watch it to get a good laugh! and Yu-Gi-Oh brought in the laughs! not sure about the GX though... haven't seen it yet!
id rather watch anime subbed not dubbed
