The only anime thats better dubbed that ive seen is cowboy bebop...all the others are horrably imo
I usually watch the dubbed versions first, then when I go back to them, I watch the subbed versions.
Can't think of any instances where I've seen anything that's been poorly dubbed, but I'm sure there's a few out there.
Speaking of dubs, I saw my first fandub last night on youtube. It was a scene from Azumanga Daioh and it sounded really professional.

Well I think it comes down to personal preference...
Some people enjoy subbed more than dubbed (I perfer subbed)...
But I do think that the dubbing is getting better for anime...
Some of the older ones were horrible...
And like someone previously said they do mispronounce quite a few words...
Wrong section, and talked about a million times.
