I know I have already mentioned GITS:SAC as having the best story and I still agree with that statement, but I also didn't want to leave out Serial Experiments: Lain.
I don't know how some of you people watch the anime you do.... I mean, dragonballz = best story, you must be crazy. And I'm sorry, but FMA may be the most overrated anime to come out since Naruto.

Well, that's a tough one. I'm very fond of REC's storyline and Mushishi's. As for licensed anime, Cowboy Bebop has the best. There really is no contest.

Sorry, that's a huge edit. I should slap myself for completely overlooking Neon Genesis Evangelion when considering which anime has the best storyline.
Anyway, HUGE edit. Neon Genesis Evangelion has definately got the best storyline of all time. THEN Cowboy Bebop, then Rec and Mushishi.
