What Does An Anime Need To Have For You To Like It, Love It......... ME, IT NEEDS TO HAVE ACTION (A LOT OF ANIMES HAVE ACTION "DUH"), BUT ME, I LIKE THE VIOLENT ACTION-WHERE BLOOD, GUTS, BULLETS FLY ALL OVER THE PLACE, PEOPLE GETTING CUT UP, TORN APART, CATCHING A BULLET RIGHT BETWEEN THEIR EYES; ITS NEEDS TO HAVE GORE, REALLY SCARY ASSS MONSTERS, BAD ASSS WEAPONS AND THE MOST IMPORTANT ONE "NUDITY, SEX:". HERE ARE SOME OF MY FAVOURITE TITLES:

Gore makes nice eye candy, but I prefer an anime that has a nice story and a nice soundtrack. Seinen anime is always more interesting than most shonen and shojo anime. Seinen including Ergo Proxy, Gantz, GitS, and anything else that's really dark, thought-provoking, and not campy and predictable as Fullmetal Alchemist, Naruto, and Dragon Ball Z.

i prefer an anime where the bad guy walks off laughing while the good guy dies
call me wierd f you want but i think there are to many good guys saving the day animes out there i love a good anime where the bad guy wins

I agree with Cupholder on seeing the villain win. Every great villain must have more than a couple good victories under their belt!! Gore in Anime is great and was one of the reasons I got into Anime in the first place,as well as nudity, profanity,VIOLENCE,Complex and mature storylines, and.....................Anime Theme Songs!!My guilty pleasure..............

For me to like an anime, it either has to be hilarious yet serious at times such as School Rumble & Cromartie High.
Or have a sense of realism and seriousness like Ghost In the Shell, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Gunslinger Girl, Mezzo, RahXephon, Blood: The Last Vampire. Those are just a few I guess.
I don't watch anime alot because there's not alot that interests me anymore, I'm not a huge fan of harem animes- but there's just so many...
