alright, this may shock you.....................its a tv show! there are lapses. dont think too much into it

but if you do want to think into it, the MAYBE Tapion visited future time and gave it to trunks.

all i know is im not going to waste the brain cells thinking about this

You have to watch Dragon Ball Z movie 13. Its a lost movie and it explains how he got his sword I haven't actually watched the movie yet but I do have it. I will confirm this later on.

i heard he got it from tapions brother or tapion right b4 being sealed in the thousand year box.

I believe that movie only goes to show how Trunks from the DBZ main timeline gets his sword, not about 'mirai no Trunk's' sword. As for as I know, I don't think anyone knows who gave him that sword. Maybe Bulma? Or he made it by himself? lol.
