Who's your favorite seiyuu

I looked around the forums and I did not find any threads about Seiyuu!
because of this, I decided to open a new thread.
who's your favorite seiyuu (Japanese voice actor) and why? (explain with detail please!)
Oh, by the way, you can choose male and/or female, and you dont have to choose just one.

At the moment, my favorite seiyuu is Suwabe Junichi - whose notable roles include Monou Fuuma (X/1999), Atobe Keigo (Tenipuri), Grimmjow (Bleach), Sting Oakley (Gundam SEED Destiny) and Seymour (FFX).

Personally, the only reason I like him is - his voice is uber sexy. He's not particularly good-looking, he's not tall and he can't really dance or anything, but geez, that voice! Dripping with smexiness. I didn't really see Kyosuke (NANA) as anything more than a part of the fillers, but Suwabe Junichi's voice makes you want to shag him.

Sakurai Takehiro (as Cloud in FF advent children, Kagami Kyouji in GB, Kira Izuru in Bleach..) ------> Because he has a very smoothing and soft voice. He fits in most of the characters that he seiyuu's for.

Toshiyuki Morikawa (as Homura Taishi in Saiyuki, Naraku in Inuyasha, Sephiroth in FF Advent Children..etc)------> Because he has a sexy evil-fitting voice. Though he does sound like a gag in his role for Kurosaki Isshin and Tousen in Bleach. ^^lll

Kusao Takeshi (as Ky Kiske in GG, Krad in D.N angel, Kougaiji in Saiyuki..)--------> I think I played too much of GG and I kept using Ky too often until his voice totally brainwashes me. <^x^>; Baa.....

Seki Toshihiko................. Argh... Too lazy to go further. <x_x> Baa..

By the way, I don't like any female seiyuu. They are all too whiney and pu$sified. <^x^>lll

She's done so many great characters like:

-Lime - Saber Marionette R, J, and JtoX
-Ayanami Rei - Evangelion
-Pyokola Analogue III - Di Gi Charat

...etc.

Uh...Hayashibara Megumi is so great because she can act through a variety of characthers anywhere from the childish carefree nature of Lime (Saber Marionette R, J, J to X) to a more silent, mopre serious char such as Ayanami Rei (Evangelion) at a high level of work.

Especially when she is doing the voices of the "childish" characters I think that she is unmatched. Her voice is so...cute and soothing. LOL, I especially loved her as Lime in the Saber Marionette series. I dont think that anyone else was better suited for that char other than her.

No other seiyuu can comes close to her in my opinion when it comes to doing a cute energetic char...well, maybe Momoi Haruko and Tamura Yukari.

I never really look into who does the voices but some of them are just that damn good you can't help but notice.
E.g. Jouji Nakata has a very 'manly' voice. Perfect for alpha male characters.

Notable roles:

Alucard in Hellsing and the Hellsing OVA
The Count of Monte Cristo in Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo
Bandō in Elfen Lied
Baki in Naruto
Hijikata in Peacemaker Kurogane
Roy in Solty Rei
Folken in The Vision of Escaflowne
Baishin in the Bleach OVA The Sealed Sword Frenzy

I don't know any voice actor who does that manly voice better than him.

Fick. I forgot Morikubo Shoutarou, whom I absolutely love (though not nearly as much as Suwabe Junichi) because he always voices the sneaky characters to perrrrrrfection - Kirihara Akaya (Tenipuri), Shikamaru (Naruto), Kadaj (FFVII Advent Children) and Orphen (Sorcerous Stabber Orphen) among many others. And he's not bad-looking either.

My favorite seiyuu is Yui Horie. She was the one who provided the voice of many female lead characters such as:
~Tohru Honda in Fruits Basket
~Ayu Tateishi in Ultra Maniac
~Naru Narusegawa in Love Hina

I like her because her voice really suits the character she plays.. like a typical japanese girl in shoujo anime. ^^ Not only is she a good seiyuu, but also a popular singer in Japan.

My favorite seiyuu is Romi paku .. because she plays almost all of my favorite characters such as:
Edward Elric ~ FMA
Heimdall ~ Mythical detective loki ragnarok
Ken Ichijouji ~ Digimon ((well, when i used to like it.. ))
and she plays a lot more ... lol.
