Thread: Why do YOU like ANIME?

Eh, I like watching anime for many diffrent reasons...

The main reasons are because One, it gives me something to do when I'm bored. Two, it's sometimes better than reading Mnaga because you can tell how character's voices sound, and it has great graphics/special effects. And finally, Three, it's just that I love watching my favorite series whenever it comes on TV or when I watch it on DVD. So, yeah.

Those are SOME of the reason why I adore watching Anime so much~!

I guess because I grew up watching it, along with Disney, Warner Brothers and Hanna Barbera. I loved watching shows like: G-Force (Gatchaman), Voltron, Sabre Rider, Robotech, and the like. Later I got into Sailor Moon, Pokemon, and the various Gundam series. Currently, I think it's the best artwork out there as far as animation is concerned. I can't standthe artwork on most of the Cartoon Network shows (though I do think Ben 10 is good). Of course, I don't like all anime, can't stand DBZ (once had someone try to explain the indepth story line in the American version of DBZ where as Gundam Wing and Robotech were all about mechs getting blown up).

well this is intresting and i would strongly say i like anime because it is very awsome to see something out side the real every day life stuff that has no real substance to it. Anime has appealed to me because the people in it i can relate too and its good to see a show anime related where thing arn't so you know fake like they are only their for the paycheck and not to entertain the veiwer as to anime is both^_^.

I like anime because it is really cool! One of my friends got me started on the manga but I already watched anime! Anime is one of my passions even if I can't draw it. LOLZ! Anyways I think anime is the future of artwork. I love you, ANIME!

well i think that i like it, due to the fact that i love the art work. the artist themselves have baffled me by there ability to combine story with breath taking art work, slick sharp edges, i love it. also there is a WIDE variety or different stories the these artist divulge into. unlike most of what i see on American television, which seems to be the same crap over again

i love anime beacuse its better than real life and you can create all sorts of things with anime!

I like aime because i was raised watching Sailormoon and that was my first anime as i got older i began to expand my collection and now i am currently the president of the anime club at my school up and running for the past three years i know go me. Anime has been a major part of my life i watch it, I coseplay, I go to conventions, I also draw it every chance i get. In a strange way it helps me express myself^^.
