But I have a question that has been burning me for a while. To me it looks like Yuko is training Watanaki to be her aprentace/replacement. But my girlfriend said it looks more like she is training a lover. What do you think?

I saw the episodes on youtube, and I have read the manga and so has my girlfriend, she still thinks she is right. Go fig...

iv read to vol 6 not very far but o well. i think it to be an aprentace and the det he is in will just get bigger and bigger un till he works tear untill he dies. or some thing like that. o_O...
i think it would be rather unlike CLAMP for watanuki to be yuuko's lover. also, i think it would be rather unlike yuuko's character to have to train a lover. cause you know she can get it wherever she wants it.
