Years in Fandom: too F-ing long? Probably before some of you were birthed.

First anime: technically it’s Future Boy Conan. But the first I can actually really remember was Vampire Princess Miyu <3

First manga: X/1999. This set the stage for my anime/manga pallet. Regardless of how redundant CLAMP can be I will always love them just the same.

Number of anime series seen: thanks to the Anime Opening Video Timeline Project [shameless plug] I’m trying to figure this out and create a “watched” list…early estimate would be “a sh!t ton”

Number of manga read: I worked and studied in DC for a few years and rode the cute subway system they have there. I say cute because its like a jungle gym compared to NY/Tokyo's transit systems…anyway I wasted an average of 200-400 bucks a month (on and off) on manga which I would buy daily. An hour commute one way, so that’s one to two volumes a day. So again “copious amounts” …not to mention I didn’t discriminate against utter crap so I’ve read the whole gamete.

Number of (real) DVDs owned: I’m a picky bastard. I also have a bad habit of buying then giving away or selling the bulk of my collection. Right now my shelves are a little sparse.

Number of (real) manga owned: not enough :P

Number of artbooks owned: one anime artbook sadly. Vampire Princess Miyu. otherwise I'd be scanning with the rest of you.

Fandom Experience (unpaid work on websites, fanfiction, translation, forums, fansub, fandub, etc): this is where I fail the interview. Never been active, skilled, or interested enough. So none....oh and I'll whore myself and draw fanart if you motivate me enough.

Industry Experience (actual paid jobs in anime/manga): nada unless these count: I cheated people out of their money working Artist Alley booths at a couple cons years ago. I also worked at the physical store Starland now online at eStarland.com in my early 20’s pushing import merchandize, games, porn, etc. the owner is a prick but reliable if you are a customer.

Relevant Skills: I draw eyebleeds with meticulous care.

How many art books, figures, clothes, bags & other accessories? I have about 7 of those type items…

Years in Fandom: 6yrs since I became a "serious otaku" but I've loved anime all my life.
First anime: Most likely Doraemon (since I grew up in Japan) but the anime that was really influential was "Mashin Eiyuuden Wataru" series.
First manga: No f'ing idea what it was...
Number of anime series seen: I'm guessing a few hundred? I've been watching anime all my life so its quite a bit. Just dont ask me to list them all, please. (@_@)
Number of manga read: Just read? If we dont have to own the manga than I'm saying 1000~1200+, I spent a lot of time in stores after school and on weekends, I still do...
Number of (real) DVDs owned: Just about to hit 300+
Number of (real) mangas owned: 200+, I'd like to say 300+ but I cant seem to find a box of them since I moved...its still in the house atleast. (I hope)
Fandom experience: A few translation requests here and there, that was it.
Industrial experience: None...yet.
Relevant skills: USED to do fanbooks, reviews...on very RARE occasions. Not in recent years. A bit of GFX if that counts...as if my skill in it really counts as GFX though.

Why are you the biggest nerd ever?: My mind is on anime, games, and manga 24/7...it may seem like I'm paying attention in class/work but deep in my head I'm in my anime world of my fav. series. To add ALL books, music, etc excluding school and work related material is all anime related, 100&#37;.

Why I'm the biggest nerd ever: I love science fiction and Anime, I watch way too much of Star Trek and anime, almost to the point where it starts to interfere with my job. I own the complete collection of the Sims 2 (Thats the base games and its 10 add ons). First anime: Voltron (Also known as Go Lion!)

Number of anime series seen: Do I really have to go back that far? Aww! Way too many!! I tried counting and lost track at about 85. If I had to guess, I'd say somewhere between 100 to 200--though I may be underguessing.

Number of manga read: Way to f***ing many!! I'd say 300-ish.

Number of (real) DVDs owned: Suprisingly not too many. Maybe about 50-65. Now VHS?? Heh, REAL--not pirated--VHS, I still own quite a few. 30 or so.

Number of (real) manga owned: Manga comes and goes like the wind. Just like my anime, they become borrowed and/or given away. All together, I'd say I've owned approximately 250.

Fandom Experience (unpaid work on websites, fanfiction, translation, forums, fansub, fandub, etc): From middle school to high school, my best friend and I made comics and manga together, so that covers about six years. I had my own little entrepenuership goin' on when I was about 15 or so. I used to make cards and posters/banners for money with my own anime style drawing on them. Even made a good amount of pocket money. ^_^ It didn't last long though. Only about a year or so. And I'm always looking for feelance work, and brushing up on my skills.

Industry Experience (actual paid jobs in anime/manga): None, really. I've submitted comic strips to various syndicates, but I've never worked profesionally.

Relevant Skills: Photoshop, pencils, ink, colors, writing, and storyboarding.

Why you are the biggest nerd ever (in 100 words or less): Because everyone I know outside of AO says so! I can't take three steps without someone calling me a nerd. My best friend says I'm the biggest otaku he knows and I thought HE was! Because I can't sleep without watching some kind of anime or Japanese media and because I've probably got the biggest J-Pop collection in American history! My people can back me up on that. ^_^
