Well if this is just about common weapons, I'd say my primary would have to be some kind of gun, though there's a few I'd look at. Fist, Kunai, Ninja stars, katana, and pole... I would only use weapons if my opponent used a weapon.. and that is IF I needed one...!

Wow, this sounds good well, if it were up to me....
My Primary weapon would be a pair of thick gauntlets. I am a hand-to hand combat person myself. So it sounds about right for me.
My secondary weapon of choice would be a RPG (Rocket Launcher). It may sound like its a bit too much, but if there's a large group, and I need to take them out in a hurry, I figured that would be the best weapon to use ^^
And my weapon for emergencies would be......me. Now I say that because if my first and second weapons didn't work out, I might as well take myself and all my enemies out in one shot in a really, really, REALLY big explosion. So in short, I am saying that I would become a live bomb as my emergency weapon.

umm.....well my primary wepon would be a sword hands down. i know how to wield a sword like it was my own hand. My secondary weapon would have to be anything that deals with a staff (spears, lances, etc.) the reason this isn't my first choice is not because i don't wield them very well, they are not my first choice in any range of combat. it is because i am just so fast. my emergency weapon is deffinetly a kunai knife. fits easily in my hand and is very light weight while running. other than that, i can wield any weapon while in combat.

my primary weapon would be a P-90Ammati
my secondary weapon would be a .50 calibur sniper rifle
and i'd have have like 5 emergency wepons
1. a hand gun
2. a sadatchy and nodachy
3. my sheild replica of wing zeros phenox sheild fit for a human
4. a spear
5. a mishetty

NOT REALLY!!!! my wepons would be bow and arrows ^.^ fun shooting people through the head, heart, and any of the 7 death points ^.^ and then my second wepon would be a staff... it might be wierd but "with a staff a child can have the reach of a man" well if a child could have the reach of a man what would a man have the reach of ^.^ well backup plan would be a bomb vest for those very dematic times when you feal like blowing yourself up to save the ones you love. So sweet but so bloody ^^

my primary weapon would be a long single edge blade with barbed teath as its blade form, and my secondary weapon would be a bow and arrow since i have decent aim and range with one

I thought of something like death note or something like camouflage
anyway for another option(as a mage):
primary weapon:Magical staff
secondary weapon:a handy light sword & a pen!

emergency weapon:a short sword(or we can say many short swords!)& the garment which I wear (I would control it w/my magic to attack my enemies)

Nice idea!
Primary Weapon : Haseo's Scythe (.Hack//ROOTS) - very aggressive and deadly .. nice for for a frontal fast attack ..
Secondary Weapon : Haseo's Short Swords (.Hack//ROOTS) - very good weapon for both defensive and offensive stances during battle ..
Emergency Weapon : Heavenly Mantle (Bleach) so i can fly every where plus it gives me advantages during a battle against an enemy .. ( I can escape as well ^^; )
