Thread: Your Very First Anime?

Mine was speait away and another was princess manoky those to i love the most.

I guess my first would be whatevr they started off showing on Toonami. I didn't know what I was watching until Kare Kano and etc. came on 'On Demand' under anime.

First post! wooo. Started watching anime with dbz back about 8 years ago (give or take). It was crazy to me to see a cartoon with a continuing plot. Gohan going SSJ2 still is in my top 10 of greatest anime moments. But it wasn't till I watched Samurai X and Rurouni Kenshin that i really got serious with watching anime.

My absolute first anime?

Astroboy (1980's). It was also my parents first anime, but they saw it back when it was first aired in North America back in the 50's-60's.

The first anime that I actually knew was anime? Gundam Wing, when it was being aired on YTV (Canadian station, stands for Youth Television).

That would be Cowboy Bebop on VHS, the reason why i bought it was because i've seen scenes from it on tv a long time ago. So i remebered i had seen something about that movie and bought it

The first anime that i ever watched was Dragon Ball..
i did not buy the series but i watched it at the television when i was little...
i liked watching it when goku was on a journey with bulma to get em dragon balls.. ^^ and it became one of my top 5 fav animes

the first anime i liked was cardcaptors. i saw it and just liked it. i think i may have seen something with knights of the zodiac before cardcaptors but it was when i was like 4 or something so i dont remember.
