Just to let you know that the Chief decided to make the voting process public, so that everyone can see who voted, and for who they voted for. This is to discourage cheating. If you do decide to cheat, not only will the staff know, everyone will know.

All contestants did pretty good. I had two favorites (Zyta and Xelhes) on which I hesitated at first, but after another quick view it was definitely Zyta.

First of all, the music suited the AMV perfectly on a lot of parts (especially the beautiful ending). Quicker scenes had fast music and slower scenes suited the rythm on most part. Second thing is, final fantasy is one of the prettiest series I know. The graphics and effects are eye-touching, advent children is gorgious (not on youtube though, hehe, bad quality). Last but not least, Zyta has shown his skills on this contest... Props man. I loved it.

Time to put my opinions on this thread.

First up, Ichigo's AMV. Sorry to say I wasn't too impressed. The biggest turn off was the use of subtitled source video. This is pretty much a no no in AMV culture. The editing wasn't well thought out, scenes didn't time nor fit with the song.

Xeihes, considering what happened with the last video you submitted (I'm not going to go any further then that, if you want more information, ask Xeihes), its pretty brazen that you used the same footage edited and put to a different song. And again, Subtitles are a no no. There are some good edits in there, I'll give you that, but it doesn't look like you put much effort into the video.

Zyta, if I was going to vote, it would be for you. Your video could stand some more time in improving the quality of the video itself (Saving it at max file size that you can get) would be best. there are some excellent edits, and choice of song fits well with the anime. Good job overall, but if you spent more time in fine tuning the edits for particular parts of the song, you'd have a truely awesome video. Dont look like i put much effort into the video.....Thats the hardest video that i ever made that took me forever to do and the editing was hard. That kinda hurt for you to say that it looked like i didnt put any effort in the amv. and how did iuse theh same footage. i used Kingdom hearts clips. what are you getting at.

Ok here is my opinion.

Xelhes: amazing video, musically speaking very very nice job. But if you take out the subtitles it would be perfect ^_^ Good cuts. ^_^

Zyta: Rythm wise very very vey very good. As same as Xelhes you did an amazing job playing with the timing and the graphics. Again: good cuts.

Aceman I didn't feel much with yours, but yet it was good. I just sometimes felt the images were just there 'cos... sometimes the stress on the music and the graphics were apart for a minimal amount of seconds but still there. it was hard to keep the flow of the music and the graphics together. There were some good cuts in my opinion.

Ichigo: nice song and nice anime but when put together there was no flow. Not that the anime and the song do not match or anything like that, but again tempo wise and everything there was no following at all. I mean, the graphics definetelly I felt they were put there just because. Actually I felt an scene was there and you just put the music in it. Plus the subtitles substracted a lot of attention. Nice cuts here and there, although it could be better.

Guys I enjoyed really! ^_^

Xelhes and Zyta.... this was really hard to do...

Aceman - Truly epic, a great song that was followed by a great animation choice. The flow felt very good and appropriate. Timing was also worth mentioning, times and feels of the clip really fit together well.

Xelhes, - Has very much the epicness that aceman had, it was very hard for me to decided between the two. Again same qualities as acemans' amv, cept Ace's struck a few more chords to me than yours. A very slim loss.

Ichigo - lol nice effort. but you need to know the first few basics of amv making.

Zyta - Loved the choices you made, again i love picking out the timing and feel of amv's, and yours had it. The only thing i didnt like too much was the quality of the vid and Advent Children is as overdone as DBZ, sorry. But considering its a contest, i didnt mind it all too much. loved it also,

Aceman had my vote this time. Xelhes is getting to be a quite the challenger, i want to see more
