OK than, 2009 is only two more weeks away and I felt that we could probably start things off in the new year with a breath of fresh air. So, as in the past we're going to do another Banner Contest. The rules are simple:
THE RULES FOR THE CONTEST - MUST READ IT!!!!!!* Please add your final images to Banners - AO Gallery and post the links to the entry in your post here as well.
* Image format can be either gif, png or jpg.
* Size: 863 x 162
* Must contain the words "Anime Online" and be based off anime / manga.
* Do not include your name or other branding on the image.
* Far right vertical line of your image MUST be a plain colored line. That is, you must make your image fade into a plain color on the right. Reason for this is that this plain color will then stretch to the end of the page. If you take a look at the current banners being used, you can see how it fades out to a plain colored vertical line.
...I took out the rule we had for the one this year which was "Minimum of 5 entries" as I for one didnt care for the idea back than. Some people just doesnt have the time nor the creativity to make 5 banners.
The deadline is going to be....lets see, how about:

ok sounds good and we have loads of gfx skilled people on ao so im sure we will have some more kick ass banners ^^ good luck everyone i donno if ill do it yet but ill have a good when i get time

I know AnimeOnline is not a videogame page... but I will be happy if a see a banner about Castlevania, Final Fantasy...
