I also saw them . both: i really liked them ,and as said; you will cry from time to time. But i has a great story. great characters. You'll just love it!

I would suggest starting the anime with the original fma and then moving on to brotherhood, this anime is kind of amazing you will not be disappinted it brings action and drama and also those really cool scenes where everyone is talking about important stuff and you dont even realize it's an awesome cartoon you are watching lolol.
Agreed. Start with the original. I only say this because I think the original develops the characters far better than in brotehrhood. Probably because it strays off the storyline and has filler episodes etc. but both are great IMO.
ive seen both of the FMAs but i love brotherhood cause of ling mixed with greed hes sooooooo hot *faints* :3
