Well, the storyline between the manga and the anime kinda goes seperate ways, but I'd have to say the storyline of the manga is the best. I absolutely love the storyline.....
The world created in Full Metal Alchemist is super interesting...you have the military, who pretty much control everything, and then you have this elite section of the military composed of all the alchemists, each with seperate abilities.
Plus, they actually include a sort of mythical science in the series which is neat. When they explain the alchemy process, it makes sense scientifically *like how Mustang uses his fire, equivolent exchange, etc* but they just make it more interesting. I mean, way back in the day there were people who believed in alchemy, trying to change lead into gold, but FMA takes the concept and extends it.......I think that's pretty sweet.
I prefer the manga to the anime, but the anime is still good. One of my favourite shows.....
Many Thanks To SasuraiHell For The Sig!
For me it was the intellect of it. It's good to know they have shows where science is the main concept. Also, the mystery. It's almost like Sherlock Holmes.
"We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars." Oscar Wilde.
Leave me and my simple sig alone. I like it. ^o^
The best thing in the series is the comedy because it actually gives some relief from the hard-core action. And the mystery of the Philospher's Stone keeps you on the edge of your seat kind of like Descendents of Darkness.
I really enjoyed how they tied it to real world concepts. I thought it to be interesting how the war between the State and the Ishbalins almost directly reflects WWII incidents. As with most anime, FMA used objects, such as the philospher stone, which was actually thought to be existent at a time, and tie them into the storyline so nicely.
You are correct i mean Equivalent exchange occurs in every day life and i love how this show applies to the real world and our fantasy minds it really shows us a look into our own reality at least it did to me. what he wanted to do in the whole series....eek cant give away stuff almost spoiled....
lol jk
