Ok im sure this has been discussed but i just saw this movie i thought it was awesome til i got to the end...i mean come on...ed and al unable to use alchemy??? what kind of an ending is that??? i wouldnt suppose that the manga deters from this....
The manga is nothing like the tv series... much less the movie.
so which did you think is better? i mean i liked the series...but i always hear one is better than the other...its ok to like both lol
I prefer the anime. But I didn't care much for the film (I found Ed to be incredibly out-of-character).
right! i mean compared to how he was in the series...but the end was so meh, i really thought they were going to put an end to it...but no! they gotta have both of them end up in the parallel world with NO ALCHEMY!!!! what could they possibly do???
ok well, i thought the movie was good. i personally liked the fact that ed meets everyone's "our world" counterparts. and the no alchemy thing, peh. didnt really matter to me. if thats how the movie was made then we might as well roll with it. and obviously no alchemy because ed and al were in our world at the end, where alchemy is dead. so why is that dissapointing? i thought it was a great ending. they live out the rest of their days in our world.
