We read the manga simply because it is a work of Yuu Watase's. The story does not revolve around Night. It revolves around Riiko and her social life with Night. It is obvious that her best friend Soshi loves her, but she is just too simple minded to see that. Night is a robot and has no real feelings. He couldn't possible satisfy her in any way. And if you're thinking about sex - there wouldn't be any spiritual or emotional connection between the two.

I LOVE Absolute boyfriend! My favorite is Soshi, well becaise he's too hot! I only got 2 volumes of it and I read three in Barnes and Nobles. Does anyone has four?

i love that manga!!! its fun and i think yuu is great at what she does. do you knwo how many of the series are out like in barnes and nobles or borders?

Yes I do agree with this. That is the reason I started reading it too. But I am trying win my point here.. And it is true and Night is a really huge part of the manga. Since the first book the novel revovled around their relationship. I also do agree with "And if you're thinking about sex - there wouldn't be any spiritual or emotional connection between the two." I dont like that part about this story.. But overall I like it.

I read the manga because I want to know that even a nerdy side character can find true love . . . it's the story of my life . . . I'm Soshi . . . in a metaphorical sense, of course.

Eeek! What a debate-ish thingy going on here? May I pop in? Well... Soshi was my favourite character ^o^ I liked him more than Night, Riiko, and all the other characters like COMBINED. So of course he's the one I want to be with Riiko. Not Night. I find it sort of odd in fact... a real girl... wanting to date a sex doll... ^^;;
