Yeah a remake might not be too bad. They should make it a little longer though... maybe add another 5-10 eps, and a huge battle to end the series. I didn't particularly like Ikki's voice, though... kinda monotonous. Can't say I think much of the other seiyuu, too... Midorikawa Hikaru should have voiced someone else instead of Kaito... Toshihiko Seki would've sounded fine as Kaito's seiyuu.

    *Arise Near-Death Topic*

Just found this Manga today, but sadly didn't enough monies to by it. (I didn't have any monies to be exact! The life of a student ) Looks interesting and is going onto my to buy list. Who knows when I'll get a chance to read it though, as I've still gotta start Gunslinger Girl asweel as No Man's Land, I Luv Halloween and Hellsing books to buy once they finally get translated/released.

Airgear is great. At first, I was hesitant about it; now, I want a pair of skates like that, you know? I cracked out my old roller-blades, just to see if I could still skate . . . people kept demanding I put on a helmet. I thought they were full of it . . . then I fell . . . and remembered why I needed a helmet.

I've never been able to go Rollerskates in my life. Ice skating was bad enough, but I used to a have a 'Real' scooter; not one of those new ones with the tiny wheels; and always loved building these ramps and hitting them at about 10-15 mph (I was going down hill) After the age of 9, I never wore a helmet. Sure I took some bad knocks, but there was no permenant damage...

I actually started wearing a helmet again when I was 11. I bought one of those childrens 'Crosser' helmets for Motorbikes and thought it looked bitching. How wrong I was.

It's not a very rich plot, but the art's pretty cool (especially the cover art). And there are numerous ecchi scenes, if you like that sort of thing.
