My only gripe is that they reversed the manga in the Dark Horse release. Something which never works well and prevents me from buying it.

Saiyuki is based loosely on the old legend Xiayuuji ("Journey to the West") about four companions who are sent to the west in order to stop the resurrection of an evil demon. Lots of action, lots of fun, lots of humour, lots of scantily clad women . . . Good stuff. I like the manga WAY better than the anime. I'm not sure about the bookiness of this one: Weiss Kreuz is about (another foursome) four assassins who are part of a secret organization (called Weiss Kreuz, who'd have thought . . .) They clash frequently with a really evil guy's cronies. Oh my gosh, an amazing anime. I'm pretty sure it's a manga, but I don't know for sure.

is backkk | Re: Any recommendations? the best manga so far that ive ever read was CHOBITS. its a 8 book series and its amazing. the story line is set in the future with a persocom [personal computer] that seems to hold human characteristics. its a great serious with a bit of humor, a but of drama and a love story to kill.

I don't know if all the other Hacks are good but this ones great(and know if they're good or not coz I could,nt get them from my manga shop). Anyway this is great mnaga with a great storyline: Its about two tennagers who win a prize to become .hackers which are kinda legendaries in Pokemon or Super Mods here. SO basically there really good players in this virtual reality game called the world which is really cool and you can really get into the book when you read it. Shugo and rena( the two twins )both meet lots of people, rare items and heaps of fun. And shugo meets a mysterious girl called aura who gives him a bracelet called the twilight bracelet which allows him to data drain his apponants. It's only a 3 volume series.
